Buyer / Broker Agreement
Thank you for your interest in working with me while shopping for a home in Quail Creek / Green Valley area. I’m looking forward to assisting you in your home search!
Prior to touring a home, you will need to sign a “Buyer Broker Agreement”. The agreement outlines my services and compensation in the event you purchase a home, and must be completed and signed prior to viewing homes.
1. Does the agreement require that I purchase a home?
No.
2. Does the agreement obligate me to work with you as my buyer’s agent?
Yes. The “Buyer Broker Exclusive Employment Agreement” is used when you engage my services to consult on buying a home, to show you multiple properties listed by me or another agent or brokerage, or are shopping for a home over an extended period of time. This is an agreement to work with me exclusively as your Buyer’s Agent while shopping for, or purchasing, a home in the Green Valley or Quail Creek area.
3. What about compensation? Do I have to pay my Buyer’s Agent?
Unlikely. The agreement defines my compensation in the event you purchase a home. In most cases, all or a portion of my compensation will be negotiated to be paid by the Seller as part of your offer to purchase.
4. Do I need to sign an agreement when visiting an Open House?
No. You are fee to visit open houses without signing an agreement with the agent hosting the open house.
5. Are there any benefits to working with you (Russ) as my exclusive buyer’s agent?
Yes. In addition to my expertise as the #1 Listing Agent and top selling broker in Quail Creek, you’ll have access to my exclusive portfolio of private, off-market listings. These are listings either coming soon, or privately listed and available only to my network of potential buyers.
[Why am I being asked to sign a written buyer agreement?]
