Creative Arts & Technology Center
Where Creativity and Community Come Together
One of the amenities that makes Quail Creek stand out among active adult communities is its impressive Creative Arts & Technology Center. Designed specifically around the interests and talents of Quail Creek residents, the approximately 12,348 sq.ft. facility provides dedicated studios and workspaces for an extensive variety of creative pursuits.
Whether you’re an experienced artist, an accomplished woodworker, or simply interested in trying something new, the Creative Arts & Technology Center provides opportunities to learn, create, and connect with neighbors who share similar interests.

Pottery, Sculpture and Ceramics Studio
Purpose-Built Studios for Creative Pursuits
Rather than offering traditional multipurpose hobby rooms, the Creative Arts & Technology Center features specialized spaces designed for particular arts, crafts, and activities. These purpose-built studios give residents room to work on projects using spaces and resources tailored to their interests.
The facility includes studios for art glass, fine arts, jewelry and lapidary, pottery, sculpture and ceramics, quilting and needlework, along with a technology room, computer lab, and woodworking shop. Many are equipped with the specialized work areas, tools, and equipment needed for their respective activities, allowing residents to pursue hobbies that might otherwise require considerable space and resources at home.

Jewelry & Lapidary Studio
The studios also welcome residents with a wide range of experience. Beginners can discover a new interest through classes and guidance from more experienced members, while accomplished artists and craftspeople have dedicated spaces where they can continue developing their skills and take on more ambitious projects.
The Art Glass Studio accommodates projects ranging from fused and stained glass to mosaics and other glass creations.
Pottery and ceramics enthusiasts have dedicated space for everything from hand-built pieces to more advanced projects, while the Jewelry & Lapidary Studio serves residents interested in creating jewelry and working with stones.
Quilters, needleworkers, painters, and other artists have their own dedicated spaces as well. The quilting and needlework studio provides room for residents to work on projects ranging from quilting and sewing to embroidery and other fiber arts, while the fine arts studio accommodates painting, drawing, and a variety of other artistic pursuits.

These dedicated workspaces give residents the room and setting to spread out, work comfortably, and pursue projects that can sometimes be difficult to accommodate at home.
For residents who enjoy hands-on projects, the well-equipped woodworking shop provides specialized workspace and tools for creating everything from furniture and toys to wood inlay, wood burning, and whittling projects.
With access to specialized tools and equipment that many residents may not have at home, the shop provides a safe and supportive environment for hands-on woodworking. Whether learning the basics or taking on a more ambitious project, residents can develop their skills, exchange ideas, and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something by hand.
The creativity doesn’t stay behind the studio doors. Display cases throughout the building showcase a changing selection of resident-made pieces, giving visitors a glimpse of the talent within the Quail Creek community and residents an opportunity to proudly share their finished creations.

Computer Lab
Technology Has a Place Here, Too
As its name suggests, the Creative Arts & Technology Center isn’t limited to traditional arts and crafts. The Computer Lab offers high-speed Wi-Fi along with both Apple and Windows computers, providing a dedicated setting for technology education and assistance.
The Quail Creek Computer Club also offers classes and help clinics throughout the year, helping residents become more comfortable with computers and everyday technology.
This combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology broadens the center’s appeal and reflects the wide range of interests found throughout Quail Creek.
More Than a Place to Make Things
Perhaps the most important aspect of the Creative Arts & Technology Center isn’t the equipment or even the studios — it’s the community that has developed around them.
Quail Creek has an extensive network of resident clubs devoted to creative interests, giving newcomers an easy way to meet people while learning from residents with greater experience. Classes, workshops, demonstrations, and informal interaction allow skills and ideas to be shared among neighbors.
For someone who has always wanted to try pottery, stained glass, painting, quilting, jewelry making, woodworking, or another creative pursuit, retirement can finally provide the time to explore it. For experienced artists and craftspeople, the center offers an opportunity to continue developing their skills while sharing their knowledge with others.
Part of the Quail Creek Lifestyle
The Creative Arts & Technology Center illustrates an important part of what makes the Quail Creek lifestyle distinctive. An active adult community isn’t defined only by golf courses, swimming pools, fitness facilities, and pickleball courts. Having opportunities to remain mentally engaged, learn new skills, pursue personal interests, and develop friendships can be equally important.
Along with amenities such as the Canyon Club, Madera Clubhouse, Anza Athletic Club, Quail Creek Golf Club, and the community’s extensive collection of clubs and activities, the Creative Arts & Technology Center gives residents yet another way to make retirement as active — and creative — as they choose.
Whether you’re rediscovering a favorite hobby or trying something you’ve never done before, the Creative Arts & Technology Center provides the space, resources, and community to turn inspiration into something tangible.
